Education Overview
“To perform and contribute
to the support and advancement of scientific research, technology and development, and to initiate, maintain,
and engage in educational activities in the sciences and allied subjects." from Draper Laboratory's Articles of Organization

The educational component
of Draper Laboratory’s mission is put into practice largely
through Draper’s Education Office programs. Reflecting Draper’s
origins as a teaching laboratory at MIT, the Education Office emphasizes
formal academic programs for undergraduate and graduate students
that feature hands-on participation in real-world engineering research
and development work. The Education Office also provides professional
development resources for Draper employees.
